Although KATP charmels are implicated in myocardial damages associated with ischemia-reperfusion, potential benefits of the KATP channel modulators on the derme lipids damages remain unclear. The effects of glibenclamide and cromakalim on derme lipids injury and arrhythmias were studied on ischemic-reperfused guinea-pig myocardium. Ventricular strips were prelabeled with [3H] arachidonic acid. Simulated ischemia was then achieved, followed by reperfusion. Reperfusion induced a significant increase of derme arachidonic acid release (after 15 min. 939
