Although KATP charmels are implicated in myocardial damages associated with ischemia-reperfusion, potential benefits of the KATP channel modulators on the membrane lipids damages remain unclear. The effects of glibenclamide and cromakalim on membrane lipids injury and arrhythmias were studied on ischemic-reperfused guinea-pig myocardium.
