343 pts

(IDV n = 216, NFV n = 127) were analysed. At D0, median HIV-VL was 4.4 and 4.6 log copies/ml respectively and median CD4 was 309 and 321 /mm3 ; at M4, 88 and 92 % of the pts were 100 % adherent and 90 and 86 % of the pts had undetectable VL. In multivariate analysis, in the IDV-receiving pts, antiretroviral naïve status (OR = 3,9 ; CI = 1,3-11,8), D0 HIV-VL (OR = 0,5 ; CI = 0,3-0,9) and Cmin (OR = 1,1 ; CI = 1,1-1.2) were statistically associated with virological success when adherence score was not taken into account ; adherence score was the sole associated factor when it was included in the statistical model (OR = 8,8 ; CI = 2,8-27,3). In NFV-receiving pts, antiretroviral naïve status (OR = 4,4 IC = 1,4-14,1) and the CR (OR = 1,8 ; IC = 1,3-2,6) were independently associated with virological success whereas adherence score was not.
